Dec 16th, 2009Hi Bart,
I’m a BIG fan of the trombone. I grew up listening to the Stan Kenton band, especially enjoying the trombone section & their harmonies. I never played a band insturment before the year 2000. At that time Paul Schulz & Larry Shafer started the New Horizon Band for senior citizens. It was then that I picked up the trombone for the first time. I’ve been learning to play ever since.
I’ve heard you play before & I envy your expertise. My wife & I attend every gig that the TIJ have played. The TIJ is our favorite local group. Keep up the great sound. We are looking forward to your next performance.
Your fellow “bone” player,
Rod Rodkey
