   I&#039;m a BIG fan of the trombone.  I grew up listening to the Stan Kenton band, especially enjoying the trombone section &amp; their harmonies.  I never played a band insturment before the year 2000. At that time Paul Schulz &amp; Larry Shafer started the New Horizon Band for senior citizens.  It was then that I picked up the trombone for the first time.  I&#039;ve been learning to play ever since.
   I&#039;ve heard you play before &amp; I envy your expertise.  My wife &amp; I attend every gig that the TIJ have played.  The TIJ is our favorite local group.  Keep up the great sound.  We are looking forward to your next performance.
